Paralegal

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support a legal team handling personal injury and workers’ compensation matters in Manchester, New Hampshire. This Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced practice and can manage case materials with accuracy and professionalism. The role requires strong organizational ability, confident document preparation skills, and day-to-day proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe and finalize dictated notes, letters, and legal documents for attorney review and use.

• Support attorneys with file management, scheduling, and the coordination of deadlines for personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.

• Organize records, exhibits, and supporting documentation for hearings, depositions, and trial activities.

• File pleadings and other legal documents through electronic court filing systems in a timely manner.

• Maintain orderly case files and track status updates, outstanding items, and critical litigation dates.

• Communicate with courts, clients, and external parties as needed to help keep matters progressing efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous paralegal experience supporting personal injury, workers’ compensation, or related civil litigation matters.
• Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and legal document handling.
• Experience assisting with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and case materials.
• Ability to complete dictation and produce accurate, well-prepared documents with strong typing accuracy.
• Familiarity with electronic filing processes and court submission requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Compensation

$20.00-$25.00 Hourly
