Mailroom Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare outgoing mail by matching recipient information with prewritten correspondence and ensuring each item is ready for distribution
• Merge and organize name and address data to create accurate mailing lists for home delivery
• Process daily mail tasks efficiently, including sorting, assembling, and routing outgoing materials
• Scan documents and maintain orderly digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval
• Review mailing details for accuracy to reduce returned mail and support timely delivery
• Distribute incoming mail and related materials to the appropriate recipients or departments
• Support general mailroom operations by keeping materials organized and workflows moving smoothly
Qualifications:
• Prior experience working in a mailroom, clerical, or administrative support environment• Ability to handle daily mail processing tasks with strong attention to detail
• Experience distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing correspondence
• Comfortable working with address lists, data merging, and basic document handling
• Proficiency with scanning, filing, and maintaining organized records
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately while meeting deadlines
• Strong reliability, organization, and communication skills in a team setting
Compensation
