Sr. Change Manager

We are looking for a Change Manager to support a non-profit organization’s evolving operating model through strategic change leadership and hands-on execution. This Long-term Contract opportunity is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is ideal for an experienced consultant who can guide enterprise-wide adoption efforts, shape compelling communication strategies, and partner closely with senior leaders in a fast-moving environment. The role will focus on improving stakeholder alignment, strengthening readiness for change, and helping product-focused teams scale effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead change management activities for enterprise initiatives, including assessing organizational impact and defining practical approaches to support adoption.

• Partner with senior business and technology leaders to shape change strategies that strengthen product-oriented ways of working across teams.

• Identify stakeholder needs, evaluate levels of influence and readiness, and build targeted engagement plans to improve alignment.

• Develop communication materials such as leadership messaging, talking points, and employee-facing content that clearly explain change priorities and expected outcomes.

• Create and execute readiness assessments, adoption plans, and sustainment strategies to help teams transition successfully into new operating practices.

• Support pilot initiatives tied to agile product models and help prepare the organization for broader rollout and scaling efforts.

• Provide consultative guidance to executives and program leaders, offering informed recommendations, constructive challenge, and direction on resistance management.

• Translate complex transformation goals into clear narratives that encourage understanding, participation, and long-term commitment.

• Work independently in a dynamic environment, anticipating leadership needs and driving deliverables forward with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading large-scale organizational change initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong background in change management, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to develop impact assessments, communication plans, and adoption strategies from concept through execution.
• Comfort working directly with senior executives and advising leadership with professionalism and confidence.
• Experience supporting agile ways of working, product operating models, or related transformation programs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting where priorities may shift quickly.
• Familiarity with discovery activities and enterprise technology landscapes, including ERP, EDI, or Oracle Fusion environments.
• Agile certification or comparable experience in agile transformation work is preferred.

Compensation

$55.00-$70.00 Hourly
