Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a mission-driven non-profit organization. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, managing high-volume customer interactions, and delivering accurate service in a fast-paced call center setting. The person in this role will handle inbound inquiries, support order processing, and provide clear, attentive communication that reflects the organization’s commitment to service.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming customer calls with empathy and clear communication.
• Assist callers with questions, concerns, and service requests while providing timely and accurate resolutions.
• Enter and update order information carefully to ensure complete and correct records.
• Manage a consistent volume of inbound and outbound calls to support customer needs and follow-up activities.
• Document customer interactions, requests, and outcomes in the appropriate systems.
• Escalate complex issues when needed and coordinate with internal teams to support resolution.
• Maintain service quality standards by following call handling procedures and customer support guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment.
• Ability to handle inbound calls efficiently while maintaining a detail-oriented and courteous approach.
• Experience with order entry and accurate data input.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Comfortable managing both inbound and outbound customer interactions.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to providing dependable customer support with attention to detail.

Compensation

$15.04-$17.41 Hourly
