Warehouse Clerk

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Clerk to join a manufacturing team in Itasca, Illinois on a long-term Contract assignment. This position supports day-to-day inventory and product handling activities by checking electronic items, documenting results accurately, and keeping stock records organized. The role is well suited to someone who is comfortable with detail-oriented tasks, basic warehouse processes, and consistent data entry in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test electronic products to confirm proper operation and identify basic issues.

• Record test outcomes, inventory updates, and item details with accuracy in tracking systems and logs.

• Support inventory control by receiving, counting, labeling, and organizing materials within the warehouse.

• Assist with asset tracking activities to help maintain accurate stock visibility across stored items.

• Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle count efforts to verify on-hand quantities.

• Use basic hand tools and follow established procedures when handling, checking, or preparing products.

• Maintain orderly documentation and ensure inventory records remain current and easy to audit.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized inventory records.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking, asset inventory, or stock control practices.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or assembly line environment.
• Ability to follow written instructions and complete routine testing or inspection tasks.
• Experience using basic hand tools is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and dependability in completing repetitive tasks.
• No specific degree is required; equivalent hands-on experience or willingness to learn is welcome.

Compensation

$20.00-$22.00 Hourly
