Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Growing Healthcare Services Organization | Full-Time
A rapidly growing healthcare services organization is seeking a proactive and hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support all aspects of human resources operations. This role offers the opportunity to help build and enhance HR processes, drive key initiatives, support payroll and benefits administration, and serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance HR programs, processes, and systems to align with organizational growth objectives.
- Lead HR projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and policy development initiatives.
- Oversee payroll reporting and administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, COBRA events, vendor coordination, and invoice auditing.
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting efforts, onboarding, and employee integration initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for employee relations matters, helping to foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Support performance management programs that drive engagement, accountability, and development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Coordinate employee training and professional development programs.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.
- Generate HR reports and analyze workforce metrics to support business decision-making.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and business information.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, payroll processes, and benefits administration.
- Experience supporting HR department growth, process improvements, or special projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within healthcare, medical, professional services, or multi-location organizations.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
- Experience helping build or improve HR functions within a growing organization.
- Strong project management and process improvement experience.
- Background supporting payroll administration and compliance initiatives.
