Accounting Assistant

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to build your accounting career? We’re seeking an Accounting Assistant to support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and help ensure invoices and payments move smoothly.

What you’ll do

• Process invoices, prepare payments, and assist with accounts payable activities
• Enter financial data and maintain accurate accounting records
• Assist with accounts receivable, customer accounts, and payment follow-up
• Reconcile account statements and research discrepancies
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and supporting documentation
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team and assist with special projects

Qualifications:

What we’re looking for

• 1+ year of accounting or administrative experience preferred
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office applications
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills and a willingness to learn

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business is a plus.
