Job Summary

Manages and facilitates overall day-to-day research administration activities and operational functions. Collaborates to ensure compliance, productivity, and progress. Develops and implements program policies and procedures and adheres to protocols, regulations, and budgets. Coordinates program events and logistics. Performs budgetary functions.


Essential Functions

Responsibilities include:
Ensure compliance, validity, productivity, and progress of the research performed in the laboratory.
Manage and facilitate overall day today research administration activities and operational functions.
Where needed, implement policies and procedures and adherence to protocols, regulations, and budgets.

Strong ability to evaluate scientific data.

Demonstrated ability to lead by example.


Physical Effort

Moderate physical effort required. May be required to stand/move for several hours at a time. May be required to move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance of equipment.

Additional details about Required Licensure/Certification: - Master’s degree in a relevant biological discipline; PhD degree preferred. - A minimum of 3–5 years of experience working in a molecular biology laboratory, with understanding of RNA biology and RNA-based technologies. - Deep understanding of basic science laboratory operations.
