Job Summary/Basic Function:
Wheaton College (MA) invites applications for a part-time instructor of Business and Management for the Fall 2026 academic semester to teach the course listed below:

MGMT 356 – Advertising (catalog description*)
Meeting days/time: Mondays and Wednesdays, 12:30 PM – 1:50 PM

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Teaching effectively in an in-person environment that fosters meaningful student-faculty interaction.
  • Creating a course syllabus (with assistance, if desired) and ensuring it is provided to students and posted on the course’s Canvas site.
  • If applicable, selecting and ordering textbooks and/or procuring other required course materials before classes begin.
  • Grading assignments in a timely manner and posting grades in Canvas.
  • Holding regular office hours and being responsive to student needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master’s in other relevant field or
    substantial professional experience within advertising

  • Prior relevant teaching experience

Compensation and Benefits:
To attract and retain the most talented individuals, Wheaton College maintains a flexible and competitive staff compensation and benefits program.

When determining and establishing hiring rates or recruitment ranges for a position, the College considers a number of factors including the budget for the position, the range of the grade, the external market for the position or similar positions, level and scope of responsibilities, required education, skills and relevant experience as well as internal equity. All salary offers must have the prior approval of the Office of Human Resources.

The anticipated hiring or recruitment range for this position is $5,000 per course. Salary to be paid in equal monthly installments from August through December.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience of the candidate.
