JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

Manages the overall coordination and maintenance of Trust systems, processes and service delivery. Coordinates business support activities with Department Staff as well as other areas of the Bank and external providers as necessary.

Essential Functions

1. Manage and coordinate all activities of the Trust Operations unit.

2. Manage Trust Operations staff including but not limited to staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, terminations, training and function allocations.

3. Provide trust operations support, knowledge and expertise to department and bank.

4. Act as liaison with Audit, vendors and regulators as needed.

5. Provide training where necessary to operations, administration, and investment staff.

6. Coordinate outsourcing vendor training and develop documentation for trust operations workflow.

7. Provide oversight and supervision to the Trust Administration process.

8. Track and verify tasks performed to opening and closing accounts, to complete transfers or transactions, and to post receipts and disbursements.

9. Coordinate the maintenance of the departmental use of the IT infrastructure including but not limited to information security, telephone, software and hardware.

10. Assist and coordinate with Bank IT department various technology solutions. Track and coordinate resolutions for IT-related issues.

11. Manage and maintain corporate Disaster Recovery Program for Trust Department.

12. Manage and maintain Departmental Risk Assessment Plan.

13. Research and resolve operations related problems.

14. Complete regulatory reporting (e.g., FINRA 13f quarterly report, RCT quarterly report, FFIEC quarterly report, daily OFAC report and reporting related to the U.S. Patriot Act).

15. Ensures Departmental compliance with all policies and procedures as applied to the Bank’s BSA/AML policy.

2. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Demonstrated leadership qualities and management skills.

2. Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.

3. Ability to manage projects and organize, prioritize and delegate tasks.

4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.

Travel

Travel may be required for this position.

Education and Experience

1. College degree required.

2. 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in a trust department operations.

3. Excellent knowledge of trust systems applications and word-processing and spreadsheet applications.

This position is classified as exempt, and as such it is paid on a salaried basis. The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000 annually.

This position is classified as full-time and the benefits package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance. Employees may select from coverage options which range from employee only to family coverage.
