Job Title: Service/Sales Coordinator - Power Systems Division (PSD)

Location: Elkridge, Maryland

Shift: 1st

Starting Compensation Range: $26.39 - $33.18 per hour

What You Will Do:

  • Load/unload new, used, customer equipment and other inventory departing/arriving facility
  • Complete accurate receiving/shipping documents or other forms for equipment
  • Check/inspect equipment for damage and record on receiving report; Advise Sales or Service Supervisor of any damage or other noted problems
  • Assist with maintaining service and safety records for cranes, forklifts, sweepers, and other related equipment
  • Keep all new and used equipment and inventory stored in designated areas
  • Assist with Keeping facility grounds organized and clean
  • Help with keeping concrete and pavement areas free of debris and discarded shipping materials
  • Operate cranes, sweepers, forklifts or other equipment types in a safe, professional manner
  • Obtain information from customers or transport drivers regarding equipment deliveries in a courteous and professional manner
  • Perform special projects as needed including back-up for the Parts Department; Shipping and receiving assistance / other departments
  • Respond to callers as it relates to yard management and inventory shipping activity
  • Capable of operating various size forklifts
  • Assist with helping to train other new employees with safe equipment operation and handling
  • Work in coordination with all teams to achieve goals, objectives, and deadlines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience operating construction equipment and forklifts
  • Rigging experience desired
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-directed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet business and customer needs
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent driving record
  • Ability to operate various model forklifts and other yard equipment

Physical Requirements: 

  • Frequently sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
  • Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
