Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Maintenance Multicraft Technician

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Repair and/or replace pumps/motors on production and plant support machines and equipment.Perform evaluation and repair on any production and plant support machines.Inspect, repair and maintain continuous operation of plant systems such as air and hydraulic systems, compressed air systems and related equipment.Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance related items.Analyze, support and perform machine process improvements while working closely with engineers, supervisors and machine operators.Perform troubleshooting and repair. Identify issues at a machine level and determine need for handoff to other qualified resources.Perform task as necessary to meet other lean requirements by working closely with Engineers, project owners and project teams.Cut, weld and fabricate metal.Install, repair and troubleshoot up to and including 480 volt 3 phase electrical circuits and components and working with both AC and DC control voltage circuits.Perform a wide variety of complex electrical/mechanical duties to troubleshoot, repair and install components associated with the facility and equipment.Assist in specification, selection and ordering of components and equipment.Perform other duties as assigned

Maintenance Multicraft Technician 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Ability to follow all written and verbal work instruction, operations and proceduresExperience as a Multicraft technician in manufacturing facility and trade training or equivalent experience. Basic Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS, Maintimizer and PLC interface software knowledge and skills are required.Understanding of rigging and lifting techniquesAbility to read, interpret and understand mechanical drawings and fluid system schematicsAbility to cut, weld and fabricate metalAbility to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair complex hydraulic systemsAbility to work from complex diagrams, drawings and specificationsWorking knowledge of PLC’s, variable speed drives (VFD) and CNC controllers to include using them to assist in troubleshooting equipment issues.Knowledge of how to install, repair and troubleshoot up to and including 480 volt 3 phase electrical circuits and components and working with both AC and DC control voltage circuits

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Must have good hand eye coordination and hand dexterity. Must be physically able to use hand tools and power tools frequently.Must be able to frequently reach with hands and arms. Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for 8 to10 hours per day. Must be able to frequently bend and squat.Must be comfortable working in awkward positions when performing job duties.Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Must be able to apply 100 pounds of push/pull force. Must be comfortable with frequent exposure to greases, oils, solvents, and surface coatings.Must be capable of safely working with and around heavy machinery and equipment.Must be able to see clearly and follow written instructions. Must be able to communicate clearly.
