Major/Essential Functions
- Schedule patients for laboratory services and EKG.
- Collect various specimens, with CMP's being fasting. Giving critical lab values or cultures to ordering physician.
- Provide HIV post counseling for CID department and complete HIV pre-release testing.
- Works with phlebotomist to maintain laboratory cleanliness in accordance with ACA standards
- Maintains laboratory licensing and credentials to ensure the lab is in compliance with operating standards as stated within policy.
