Position Description

Performs clinical applications support duties with the clinicians and staff providing patient care in the ambulatory clinic setting.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and opportunities to improve efficiencies within the EMR
  • Develop plans/trainings for end users utilizing data analytics
  • Partner with the EMR team to create best practice workflows for staff
  • Act as a liaison between clinical staff, leadership, and the EMR team
  • Review patient data to make medical workflows safer and more efficient
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems reported by clinical team members
  • Analyze clinical and operational data to improve documentation quality and patient outcomes


Required Qualifications

Undergraduate degree and 4 years of experience in medical/electronic medical records; or a combination of education and experience to equal eight (8) years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic systems.
  • Experience in Healthcare.
  • Knowledge with revenue cycle software.
  • knowledge various clinical and professional software.
