General Manager
Responsibilities:
• Provide overall leadership for plant operations, ensuring performance targets related to safety, product quality, on-time delivery, and cost control are consistently achieved.
• Shape and carry out site-level business plans that support broader organizational goals, growth priorities, and long-term operational success.
• Track performance indicators across the facility, evaluate results, and drive timely improvements when outcomes fall short of expectations.
• Oversee the effective use of staffing, machinery, raw materials, and production resources to maximize efficiency and output.
• Lead recurring operational reviews to assess results, align priorities, and maintain accountability across functional teams.
• Hold full financial responsibility for the operation, including budget planning, forecasting, capital spending, and overall profit and loss performance.
• Identify and execute opportunities to strengthen margins, lower operating expenses, and improve overall plant productivity through data-driven decision-making.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable environmental, regulatory, and internal operating standards.
• Advance quality and continuous improvement efforts by applying Lean manufacturing and related process improvement methods to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Develop leaders across operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain while building an engaged, high-performance workplace culture.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a closely related discipline.• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 5 years managing a plant, business unit, or similar operation with direct profit and loss accountability.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional manufacturing teams in a multi-department setting.
• Strong working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Proven ability to improve operational efficiency, product quality, output, and financial performance.
• Experience developing budgets, preparing forecasts, and managing capital expenditure initiatives.
Compensation
