Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to help maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting activities for our client in Columbus, Ohio. This position requires hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop, along with the ability to manage payables, receivables, and reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable contributing to reporting processes that support sound financial decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Record financial transactions in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop while keeping ledgers current and accurate.
• Oversee accounts payable activities by reviewing invoices, preparing payments, and ensuring vendors are paid on time.
• Manage accounts receivable tasks, including issuing invoices, tracking incoming payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and maintain reliable financial data.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and ensure financial records are complete and easy to retrieve.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and summaries to support monthly and periodic review activities.
• Monitor transaction details for accuracy and resolve bookkeeping issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or a closely related accounting support role.
• Proficiency with both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
• Practical knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial records and transactions.
• Ability to organize workloads, manage deadlines, and maintain consistent follow-through.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Compensation

$52,000.00-$56,000.00 Yearly
