Receptionist 4
We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in Seattle, Washington. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming office experience, managing administrative tasks with accuracy, and assisting employees, guests, and vendors in a supportive environment. The role combines reception coverage, badge coordination, package tracking, and general office support, making it well suited to someone who is organized, confident, and comfortable working on site throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk, confirm arrivals, and ensure guests receive the appropriate access credentials before entering the office.
• Issue and track contract and visitor badges, maintain accurate access records in spreadsheets, and follow up on unreturned badges to support building security procedures.
• Assist new hires and existing staff with badge activation, access updates, and coordination of access-related issues with internal facilities support.
• Receive incoming questions and service requests, route them to the appropriate team members, and submit work orders or escalation tickets when further action is needed.
• Log delivered mail and packages with attention to detail, record key shipment information, and help ensure items are distributed efficiently to the correct recipients.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support by monitoring shared inboxes or communication channels, responding to routine inquiries, and helping maintain smooth office operations.
• Support office hospitality needs such as coordinating small deliveries, assisting with visitor readiness, and helping maintain a welcoming front-of-house environment.
• Handle occasional physical tasks such as moving light packages or using carts for deliveries while maintaining an organized reception and mail area.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in reception, front desk support, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing administrative role.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with employees, guests, and vendors.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, with the ability to maintain trackers and records accurately.
• Comfortable remaining at a desk for extended periods in a primarily sedentary, on-site position.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, stay organized, and respond calmly in a busy office setting.
• Capable of handling light physical duties, including moving packages with carts and lifting items up to 20 pounds.
• Reliable judgment and attention to detail when supporting badge access, visitor check-in, and package logging procedures.
Compensation
