Warehouse Specialist

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Specialist to support daily inventory and equipment handling activities in Texas. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, takes pride in accuracy, and can help keep shipping, receiving, and storage operations running efficiently. The person in this role will work with electrical test equipment, maintain organized inventory records, and contribute to a safe, productive warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the intake, inspection, basic testing, packaging, and outbound shipment of electrical test equipment for customer orders.
• Use warehouse tools and machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and packing equipment to move and prepare materials safely for transport.
• Handle inventory throughout the shift, including lifting and relocating items while following established safety procedures.
• Record shipment and inventory activity accurately to ensure clear visibility of incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Arrange stock and materials in assigned warehouse locations to improve organization, access, and efficient use of space.
• Partner with coworkers to complete daily warehouse priorities and support continuous improvement in workflow and operations.
• Provide guidance to new team members on safe material handling practices and proper use of warehouse equipment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution setting.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Comfort working with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; training can be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
• Good organizational skills and a consistent approach to handling materials and stock.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
• An electrical background or familiarity with electrical equipment is preferred.

Compensation

$21.85-$25.30 Hourly
