Senior Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a team supporting a broad set of enterprise applications. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day application stability while also contributing to improvement efforts across legacy and modern Microsoft-based systems. The role calls for strong technical judgment, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to work closely with both business and IT partners to strengthen application performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the support, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of a large portfolio of internal business applications.
• Investigate production issues, diagnose root causes, and deliver effective fixes across existing Microsoft-based solutions.
• Review older applications to identify practical opportunities for upgrades, refactoring, and long-term improvement.
• Build, modify, and support software using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and IIS within enterprise environments.
• Partner with business users and technical teams to improve system dependability, usability, and overall performance.
• Contribute to integration-related development efforts and help connect applications across the broader technology landscape.
• Take part in upgrade, migration, and modernization initiatives affecting legacy and current application platforms.
• Offer technical direction and knowledge sharing to entry-level developers and support personnel.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of software development experience in .NET environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and IIS.
• Background supporting and enhancing applications built on .NET Framework 4.x.
• Proven ability to work effectively within complex environments that include legacy systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience resolving production issues in business-critical applications.
• Ability to analyze existing systems, document findings, and improve applications with limited original documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and IT leadership.

Compensation

$52.25-$60.50 Hourly
