Bilingual Bank Teller
Responsibilities:
• Accurately complete member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine teller activities in a timely manner.
• Respond to account questions and provide clear guidance to help members understand available services and next steps.
• Build positive member relationships by identifying appropriate credit union products and services that align with individual needs.
• Maintain precise transaction records and follow established procedures to support operational accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift, researching and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Create a welcoming, friendly branch atmosphere that encourages strong member satisfaction and repeat engagement.
• Support branch coverage needs, which may include traveling to other locations when required.
• Use phone, email, and basic office software to assist with service requests, documentation, and day-to-day communication.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in a financial institution or a customer-facing service environment.• Fluency in two languages with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse members.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with members and coworkers.
• Solid attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash, transactions, and data entry tasks.
• Comfort using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email, and other standard office tools.
• Ability to manage inbound member inquiries and deliver responsive customer service across in-person and phone interactions.
• Flexibility to travel to other branch locations as needed.
Compensation
