ERP/CRM Consultant

We are looking for a consultant to evaluate and strengthen the organization’s SharePoint environment in Aurora, Colorado. This Contract position will begin with a focused discovery period to review the current setup, align platform priorities with business needs, and define a practical plan for future improvements. The consultant will work closely with both technical teams and business partners to enhance usability, governance, security, and long-term platform effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
• Assess the existing SharePoint landscape, including site structure, permissions, and overall platform design, to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, technology, and other business areas to gather needs, clarify challenges, and translate goals into platform recommendations.
• Create a prioritized roadmap that outlines enhancement opportunities, implementation phases, and ongoing support considerations.
• Manage daily SharePoint administrative activities, ensuring the environment remains organized, secure, and well maintained.
• Refine information architecture, navigation paths, and content organization to improve access to resources and user experience.
• Review role-based security and departmental access settings, leveraging Active Directory groups to support appropriate segmentation and control.
• Advise on the design of intranet experiences such as onboarding resources, communication hubs, and department-focused pages.
• Establish governance guidelines, documentation standards, and support processes that promote consistency and sustainable platform management.
• Provide strategic guidance on future SharePoint enhancements, including potential modernization, customization, and related Microsoft 365 capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience administering and architecting SharePoint Online environments.
• Proven ability to perform platform assessments and develop actionable project roadmaps or planning documents.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint governance, permissions management, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience working with Active Directory or Entra ID groups to manage access and role-based permissions.
• Understanding of site design, content structure, navigation strategy, and information architecture within SharePoint.
• Ability to partner effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams in a consulting capacity.
• Strong documentation and requirements analysis skills, including experience producing business requirement materials.
• Familiarity with SharePoint customization, Power Platform tools, or broader Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions is a plus.

Compensation

$41.96-$48.59 Hourly
