Accounts Payable Clerk

A growing precision metal fabrication organization in Calistoga is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support the accounting team for a 3 month project. This position is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of company obligations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Review invoices for proper PO approvals, coding, and supporting documentation
• Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
• Provide clerical support to ad-hoc accounting requests, ie. scanning and filing financial documents

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of accounts payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite, Dynamics Business Central, Sage Intacct, or a comparable ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required
