SBA 7(a) Loan Closer – Fully Remote

We are seeking an experienced SBA Loan Closer for a fully remote opportunity. The ideal candidate must have direct experience closing SBA 7(a) loans and previous experience working for a bank, credit union, or other financial institution.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced SBA professional who can independently manage complex 7(a) loan closings while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely communication.

Responsibilities:

• Manage SBA 7(a) loans from approval through closing and funding
• Review loan approvals, credit memos, and authorization requirements
• Prepare and review loan closing documents for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure all loan conditions are satisfied before closing
• Collect and review borrower, guarantor, insurance, and collateral documentation
• Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, escrow officers, lenders, and internal departments
• Verify that loan files comply with SBA requirements and the financial institution’s policies
• Review entity documents, lien searches, appraisals, environmental reports, and insurance coverage
• Prepare SBA forms and other required closing documentation
• Coordinate loan signing, funding, and disbursement
• Track outstanding items and communicate loan status to all parties
• Maintain organized and audit-ready electronic loan files
• Assist with post-closing documentation and file review
• Manage multiple loans while meeting closing deadlines

Qualifications:

• Direct SBA 7(a) loan-closing experience
• Previous experience working for a bank, credit union, or other financial institution
• Strong knowledge of SBA loan documentation and closing requirements
• Experience reviewing loan approvals, collateral documentation, and closing conditions
• Ability to independently manage loans from approval through funding
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
• Proficiency with loan documentation systems and Microsoft Office
