Logistics Coordinator

Join a Fast-Moving Health & Wellness Company Where Logistics Actually Matters

A growing health and wellness company in Carlsbad is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to help keep products moving from suppliers through distribution and ultimately into customers' hands. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with vendors, and solving problems before they become bigger issues. You'll work closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Operations to coordinate orders, track inventory, and make sure shipments stay on schedule. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling several moving pieces at once.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and vendors
• Monitor purchase orders and shipment status from order through delivery
• Track inventory levels and communicate potential shortages to Operations
• Schedule freight pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
• Enter and update logistics information within ERP and inventory systems
• Communicate with vendors regarding order confirmations and delays
• Investigate damaged, missing, or delayed shipments
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation
• Prepare logistics and inventory reports for management
• Partner with Customer Service to resolve order and delivery issues
• Help identify opportunities to improve shipping and fulfillment processes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of logistics, supply chain, inventory, or operations experience
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organization and follow-through
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
• Distribution, consumer products, healthcare, or wellness industry experience is a plus
