Description:

Analyzes complex system requirements and designs reusable software tools and subsystems while overseeing implementation, estimating delivery effort, and improving existing programs.

*This position is contingent upon contract award.*

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new software products or major enhancements
  • Address systems-integration, compatibility, and multi-platform issues
  • Drive assigned projects to completion
  • Perform feasibility analyses for potential future projects

Qualifications:

  • Years of Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Certification Requirements
    • Duty-based. Required before starting work if performing IA functions or privileged system-administration duties; exact category is not specified.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience designing AI/ML or advanced analytics solutions in AWS GovCloud or comparable regulated cloud environments.
    • Experience architecting solutions for DoD Impact Level 5 or similarly controlled environments.
    • Experience designing scalable, highly available, multi-availability-zone, load-balanced systems.
    • Experience designing AI/ML development, testing, deployment, and production environments.
    • Experience with cloud-native AI/ML pipelines and model lifecycle architecture.
    • Experience with DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code architecture.
    • Experience integrating application data, infrastructure logs, application logs, transaction data, and external datasets.
    • Experience designing APIs, web services, or enterprise integration solutions; MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience is preferred.
    • Experience with data architecture, data governance, transaction design, and interface specifications.
    • Experience designing zero-trust, role-based access control, CAC/PKI authentication, and encryption solutions.
    • Experience integrating Web Application Firewalls, reverse web proxies, and automated security-monitoring capabilities.
    • Experience developing ATO, RMF, security architecture, and DoD-compliant design artifacts.
    • Experience designing Section 508-compliant web applications and analytical dashboards.
    • Familiarity with EDI X12, XML, DLMS, or other high-volume transaction formats is preferred.
    • AWS architecture certification or comparable cloud certification is preferred.
