Overview

Coopersburg, PA | Global Headquarters

What if your next role were not simply to run leadership programs—but to help shape who leads a global innovation company for the next decade (or two)?

Build the leadership bench for Lutron's next chapter

For more than 60 years, Lutron has built products known for innovation, quality, and long-term thinking. We bring the same discipline to developing our people.

This newly created role has one clear mandate: build the leadership depth Lutron will need for the future. You will partner directly with senior executives, business leaders, HR partners, and Lutron University to identify future leaders, assess readiness, strengthen succession pipelines, and accelerate the growth of high-potential employees and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Strengthen Lutron's succession pipeline

  • Lead succession planning and talent reviews for critical roles, extending the discipline deeper into the organization.
  • Help leaders answer the questions that matter: Who can lead next? How ready are they? Where are the risks? What experiences will accelerate their growth?
  • Translate talent insights into clear development actions and stronger, more rigorous leadership decisions.
  • Facilitate executive talent discussions that drive thoughtful decisions about readiness, potential, and succession.
  • Identify development experiences that accelerate the growth of high-potential employees and future leaders.

Build differentiated development for high-potential and senior leaders

  • Design and evolve Lutron's high-potential development strategy and experiences.
  • Create targeted learning for directors and senior executives in the capabilities most important to Lutron's future.

Advise senior executives

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and skilled facilitator for executives and leadership teams.
  • Challenge assumptions, bring an enterprise perspective, and help leaders make thoughtful decisions about people, readiness, and succession.
  • Partner across the business to turn priorities into practical, scalable solutions.

Bring rigor without bureaucracy

  • Use data, feedback, and business insight to evaluate impact, improve outcomes, and create consistency without allowing process to become the work.

You'll thrive here if...

  • You are energized by building something meaningful and impactful.
  • You move easily between strategy and hands-on execution (and you enjoy both).
  • You earn trust through judgment, credibility, candor, and practical thinking.
  • You are comfortable influencing senior leaders and navigating complex talent decisions.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent management, leadership development, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Expertise in succession planning, talent reviews, high-potential development, and senior-leader development. A track record of designing, building, and scaling practical leadership and talent solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior leaders and facilitating high-stakes talent discussions, leveraging strong consulting, coaching, facilitation, and communication skills to translate insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in a product-driven company required.
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
