Responsibilities
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and screening candidates for high-volume positions.
Working closely with a Senior Recruiter, this role will receive hands-on mentorship while learning the fundamentals of full-cycle recruiting. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, comfortable with a high volume of phone conversations, and takes ownership of their work. As recruiting skills and technical knowledge develop, this person will have the opportunity to take on increasingly complex and senior-level positions.
- Source and build pipelines of qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, social media, and other recruiting channels
- Conduct a high volume of phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, interest, and fit
- Partner with Senior Recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs
- Manage candidate communication and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
- Maintain accurate candidate activity and information in iCIMS applicant tracking system
- Coordinate interviews and communicate next steps with candidates
- Participate in career fairs, recruiting events, and other talent attraction activities as needed
- Learn and apply recruiting strategies while developing knowledge of SAM’s technical roles and industry
- Take ownership of assigned recruiting responsibilities and continuously look for ways to improve
- Progressively take on more technical and senior-level recruiting assignments as competencies develop

Qualifications
- 1+ years of recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, or other people-focused experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Comfortable making frequent phone calls and having conversations with candidates throughout the day
- Highly motivated, dependable, and takes ownership of responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Coachable, curious, and eager to learn
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is a plus (we use iCIMS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with 3 days per week in our Westerville, OH office
