The Mendoza-Halliday Lab is currently seeking candidates for one Postdoc position in the field of Cognitive Neurophysiology. Our Lab uses cutting-edge tools for high-count multi-area neuronal recordings & optogenetics in NHP animal models to investigate how neurons generate, monitor, and transform mental representations in working memory for their use in cognition. The Lab is affiliated with the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh and is located in the Mellon Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. By the start of the position, candidates must have completed a PhD in Neuroscience, Physiology, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering, Psychiatry, or related fields studying the brain mechanisms of cognition. Candidates with research experience related to the lab's research field, animal model and experimental methods are particularly encouraged to apply. For more information about the lab, visit .
