Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Administer weekly payroll for roughly 100 employees through Paycom, verifying pay details, deductions, and employee records for accuracy.
• Respond to payroll-related questions, research discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly while adhering to applicable wage and tax regulations.
• Lead onboarding and separation activities, including employment documentation, orientation coordination, system access, and record updates.
• Maintain personnel files and process employee changes such as transfers, status updates, and terminations with a high degree of confidentiality.
• Oversee benefit enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and annual open enrollment communications while serving as a resource for employee benefit questions.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment efforts for warehouse, field, and corporate openings, including sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring decisions.
• Partner with staffing firms and internal leaders to meet ongoing workforce needs, especially in high-turnover operational environments and field-based teams across the organization.
• Support HR compliance by assisting with policy updates, documentation, audits, reporting, and process improvements that enhance the department’s infrastructure.
• Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters and help address workplace concerns in a timely and thorough manner.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in human resources, payroll, recruiting, or a closely related function.• Hands-on payroll processing experience, with strong preference for familiarity with Paycom.
• Working knowledge of payroll practices, employment regulations, and general HR compliance requirements.
• Experience administering employee benefit programs, including enrollments and open enrollment activities.
• Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment and supporting high-volume hiring needs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities when working independently and with leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience supporting warehouse, distribution, logistics, or field-based teams is a plus.
Compensation
