Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate annual and interim recertification activities by collecting paperwork, monitoring due dates, and helping move each file through completion.
• Communicate with residents by phone and in person to provide updates, request missing information, and assist with appointment scheduling.
• Prepare lease signing packages, support execution of leasing documents, and ensure completed records are properly organized.
• Draft, assemble, and distribute resident notices while maintaining consistency and attention to required timelines.
• Maintain resident files through accurate data entry, document review, and orderly record retention practices.
• Track compliance-related deadlines and follow up on outstanding documentation to support timely submissions.
• Provide front desk and general office support, including answering inbound calls and assisting with routine administrative requests.
• Support leasing and occupancy projects by coordinating paperwork and helping staff keep resident processing on schedule.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in administrative support within affordable housing, property management, or a related real estate environment.• Ability to assist with recertifications, leasing documentation, and resident file maintenance with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience handling inbound calls, resident inquiries, and general receptionist or front office responsibilities.
• Strong data entry skills and comfort working with detailed records, forms, and compliance-related documents.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, follow-ups, and multiple active tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working effectively with residents and internal teams.
• Proficiency with standard administrative office tools and general office procedures.
Compensation
