REMOTE 3+ Year Defense Litigation Attorney

We are looking for an experienced Defense Litigation Attorney to join a multi-state law firm serving clients in Arizona. This opportunity is ideal for an Arizona-licensed attorney with at least three years of litigation experience who can manage defense matters with confidence, sound judgment, and strong written advocacy. The role offers the chance to contribute across all phases of civil litigation while working in a collaborative legal environment. This is a fully remote role.

Responsibilities:

• Handle defense litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution, ensuring matters progress efficiently and strategically.

• Prepare persuasive motions, pleadings, and other court filings that reflect strong legal analysis and attention to detail.

• Develop clear and well-supported briefs for hearings and other litigation proceedings.

• Manage the discovery process by drafting responses, preparing requests, reviewing produced materials, and identifying key case issues.

• Conduct legal research and apply relevant case law and procedural rules to support litigation strategy.

• Represent clients in court appearances, case conferences, and related proceedings as required.

• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal legal staff to maintain organized case management and timely communication.

Qualifications:

• Active attorney license in the State of Arizona.

• At least 3 years of experience handling defense litigation matters.

• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents.

• Hands-on experience managing discovery in contested matters.

• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedure and courtroom practice.

• Excellent written communication, legal research, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while meeting deadlines.

Compensation

$130,000.00-$180,000.00 Yearly
