Web Content Specialist/Designer

We are looking for a creative Web Content Specialist/Designer to support digital content and marketing initiatives for a construction/contractor organization in Sylmar, California. This Long-term Contract position focuses on shaping engaging web pages within established templates, enhancing visual storytelling through photo and video assets, and contributing to high-quality marketing materials. The ideal candidate brings a strong eye for layout, brand consistency, and clear presentation across web, social, and proposal-related content.

Responsibilities:
• Create and update website pages within a content management system by organizing copy, images, and multimedia into approved page templates.
• Edit and prepare video content for web and internal communication use, ensuring assets are presented clearly and professionally.
• Select, upload, crop, and label images appropriately so visual content is optimized for digital publishing.
• Develop simple branded graphics for social media and related communications using established design standards.
• Support proposal production by assembling layouts, building infographics, formatting content, and organizing response matrices.
• Perform content-related data entry and maintain accurate records in internal platforms as needed.
• Apply style guidelines and existing design frameworks to keep website content consistent, current, and visually effective.
• Assist with digital marketing efforts by maintaining online content and helping prepare materials that support campaign objectives.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing and publishing content through a CMS, including web page creation and maintenance.
• Proficiency with web content management practices and strong comfort working within template-driven page structures.
• Demonstrated ability to edit videos and prepare multimedia assets for online use.
• Working knowledge of graphic design principles with the ability to create simple digital visuals.
• Experience supporting proposal or marketing deliverables, including formatting, layout, and visual presentation.
• Strong attention to detail when handling image selection, naming conventions, uploads, and data entry tasks.
• Ability to follow brand standards, style guides, and established content processes consistently.

Compensation

$38.00-$44.00 Hourly
