Role Summary

The Senior IT Project Manager will lead a large-scale visitor experience technology initiative focused on enhancing the end-to-end guest journey, from pre-arrival planning through on-site access and departure. Located in Los Angeles, CA, this role will oversee complex projects involving software, hardware, infrastructure, and system integration components while partnering with executive stakeholders, business leaders, vendors, and technical teams to drive successful outcomes. This position requires a hands-on project leader who can operate effectively across operational, technical, and strategic environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and project closure.
  • Manage a strategic visitor experience technology program involving software, hardware, infrastructure, and integrated systems.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and status reporting.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and drive consensus among business, operational, and technical teams.
  • Monitor project financials and ensure adherence to approved budgets and timelines.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party implementation partners.
  • Develop change management and communication strategies to support adoption and organizational readiness.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues and escalations.
  • Prepare executive presentations, project updates, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Track project dependencies across multiple teams and business units.
  • Ensure solutions align with organizational objectives, technology standards, and user experience goals.

  • Salary Range: $118,000 - $150,000 annually

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex technology implementation projects
  • Proven track record leading projects involving multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and dependencies
  • Experience managing both software and infrastructure or hardware-related initiatives
  • Strong project planning, budgeting, risk management, and governance experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential
  • Experience leading visitor experience, facility technology, access control, transportation, parking, or operational technology projects
  • Background managing projects that combine hardware, software, infrastructure, and system integration components
  • Experience with enterprise platforms, data integration, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • Experience working within large, complex organizations with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Workfront, or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting nonprofit, cultural, educational, public sector, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.

Compensation

$118,000.00-$150,000.00 Yearly
