Inventory Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support daily inventory operations for a parts and distribution company. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and organizing parts, processing inventory transactions, and ensuring products are properly stored and accounted for.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and materials against purchase orders and packing slips
• Label, organize, and properly store inventory in designated locations
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders and internal requests
• Enter inventory transactions accurately into the company’s inventory or ERP system
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, receipts, shipments, and adjustments
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
• Ensure the warehouse and inventory areas remain clean, organized, and safe
• Follow company procedures for inventory control, handling, and documentation
• Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, sales, and operations teams to resolve inventory issues
• Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1+ year of inventory, warehouse, parts, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/ERP systems

Ability to accurately enter and maintain inventory data

Ability to identify and resolve basic inventory discrepancies

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
