Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate quote requests with the appropriate internal team and share needed details to support timely pricing responses.
• Respond to questions from intake, quoting, sales, and customer contacts while ensuring project information remains clear and up to date.
• Partner with sales representatives and customers throughout project lifecycles, including participation in kickoff discussions for new orders and initiatives.
• Oversee customer account administration, maintain open order tracking, and keep shared documentation current and organized.
• Process orders with accuracy and urgency, including ticket selection, portal updates, and post-order follow-up activities.
• Collect required deposits or payments when applicable and support smooth order progression through internal workflows.
• Revise shipping dates in System 21 when needed and communicate schedule or lead-time changes to both customers and sales contacts.
• Perform stock availability checks and provide shipment notifications for direct-ship orders.
• Handle customer-specific program requests and support order-related activities for national account, hospitality, international, private label, and OEM business segments.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or order entry, preferably within a manufacturing environment.• Ability to manage inbound and outbound customer communication professionally and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of order processing, account coordination, and customer follow-up practices.
• Proficiency with business systems and tools such as Salesforce, Zendesk, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, shipping updates, and customer documentation.
• Comfortable collaborating with sales teams, internal operational groups, and external customers across multiple product lines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle several active orders or projects at once.
