Oracle EPM Finance Admin

Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Oracle EPM Finance Admin to support one of our clients on an interim basis. This contract position will focus on maintaining stability across the Oracle EPM environment, improving system performance, and supporting accurate financial close and reporting activities. The role combines hands-on administration, cross-functional collaboration, and strong oversight of controls, integrations, and ongoing platform enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Oracle EPM applications, including Account Reconciliation, Financial Consolidation and Close, Planning and Budgeting, and related platform components to keep daily operations running smoothly.

• Work closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to deliver configuration updates, develop reports, maintain metadata, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

• Support quarter-end and month-end activities by maintaining workflows, monitoring control execution, and ensuring required documentation is completed accurately.

• Manage data movement between source systems and Oracle EPM by overseeing integrations, validating loads, reviewing mappings, and addressing data quality concerns.

• Translate business needs into system changes such as security updates, business rules, form adjustments, and dashboard improvements.

• Perform routine system maintenance, coordinate updates, and identify opportunities to improve reliability, usability, and efficiency across the EPM environment.

• Partner with auditors, IT teams, and finance leadership to support compliance requirements and resolve access, control, or reporting issues.

• Contribute to continuity during audit periods, organizational change, or other high-priority business phases by providing steady administrative support across the platform.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience administering Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Account Reconciliation, Financial Consolidation and Close, and Planning and Budgeting.
• Strong understanding of financial operations such as close cycles, consolidations, planning processes, internal controls, and account reconciliations.
• Practical knowledge of SOX compliance within finance systems, including the ability to support control execution and interact effectively with auditors.
• Experience managing data integrations, metadata structures, security roles, member formulas, and business rules within Oracle EPM.
• Ability to troubleshoot system, data, and user access issues while communicating clearly with business and technical stakeholders.
• Background supporting Accounting and Finance teams in a systems administration or finance technology role.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a contract environment that requires immediate impact.
• Oracle EPM Cloud certifications are preferred.

Compensation

$80.00-$95.00 Hourly
