Applications Support Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming support requests, monitor ticket progress, and coordinate with technical teams when issues require escalation.
• Maintain learning system content by building and updating training items, curricula, and learning plans within the platform.
• Investigate access, assignment, and completion problems, then provide clear and timely guidance to users and stakeholders.
• Administer course and session setup, including enrollments, equivalencies, completion records, and approval workflows.
• Configure audience criteria and assignment rules to ensure the right learners receive the appropriate training.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports to support operational visibility, decision-making, and data accuracy.
• Partner with learning and optimization teams to support rollout activities for new learning solutions and system enhancements.
• Communicate request status, expected timelines, and potential impacts to stakeholders in a thorough and service-oriented manner.
• Follow established procedures, documentation standards, and metadata conventions while maintaining job aids and knowledge resources for repeatable execution and audit readiness.
• Participate in working groups and administrator forums to share updates, reinforce standards, and recommend improvements that strengthen data quality and user experience.
Qualifications:
• Experience providing application or system administration support in a high-volume operational environment.• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot user issues related to access, assignments, enrollments, and completion records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly to end users and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in reporting and documentation, including the use of Microsoft Excel for tracking and analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, record integrity, and compliance with standard procedures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, partners, and technical support groups.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities during standard business hours.
• Background in learning systems, HR administration, training operations, or similar enterprise support functions is preferred.
Compensation
