AR Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team in Dallas, TX. This individual will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and assisting with collections activities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.
- Post customer payments received via ACH, wire, check, and credit card.
- Monitor accounts for overdue balances and conduct collection efforts.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and payment histories.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and customer inquiries.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
- Prepare aging reports and communicate collection status to management.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to resolve payment issues.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including AR reconciliations and reporting.
- Support cash application functions and ensure proper allocation of receipts.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or cash applications experience.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and accounting principles.
- Experience managing customer accounts and collections activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Compensation
