Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day invoice processing, payment administration, and vendor account maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, accuracy in financial processing, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and on time.
• Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire payments. 
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Communicate with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment status and issues.
• Support audit requests and reporting needs as required. 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
