Assistant Property Manager (Bilingual Spanish)

We are seeking a bilingual Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a 352-unit apartment community in Chula Vista. The ideal candidate will have prior property management and leasing experience, strong customer service skills, and hands-on experience with Yardi. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of a 352-unit apartment community
• Provide excellent customer service and serve as a primary point of contact for residents
• Support leasing activities, including tours, applications, move-ins, and move-outs
• Communicate with residents regarding questions, concerns, and property policies
• Assist with rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and resident account management
• Maintain accurate resident records and property documentation in Yardi
• Coordinate and communicate with vendors to ensure timely completion of services and maintenance
• Assist with resident notices, inspections, and other property management tasks
• Support the Property Manager with administrative and operational responsibilities
• Help maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and the onsite team
• Ensure the property remains organized, well-maintained, and operating efficiently

Qualifications:

Previous property management experience required

Previous leasing experience preferred

Yardi experience required

Fluent in English and Spanish required

Strong customer service and communication skills

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Professional, dependable, and solutions-oriented
