Job Summary
The Laboratory Services is seeking a Patient Materials/Records Coordinator to act as librarian of patient materials moved and retrieved throughout the hospitals. Under general supervision, will maintain patient slides and blocks and serve as a reference for retrieval, delivery for patient care conferences and studies. Administrative duties for the department including management of linens, mail distribution, maintenance of printers and assist faculty with Microsoft platform, and maintenance of conference room set up. Provide cross coverage for department duties as needed.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Patient Registration knowledge; attention to detail as librarian; Microsoft Office skills. Ability to walk long distances throughout the day carrying glass slides (weight up to 15 lbs.).

Preferred Education/Experience
Prefer a Bachelors and 1 or more years in science field.
