We are hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Supply Chain team!

DISCOVER

Are you a strategic thinker who enjoys building supplier partnerships, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and influencing business decisions through data and collaboration? If so, this could be your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you'll play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies that support business objectives across direct and indirect commodities. You'll partner closely with internal stakeholders across engineering, finance, procurement, product management, sales, marketing, and operations to drive value, strengthen supplier performance, and support long-term business growth.

This is a highly strategic leadership role focused on supplier development, commodity strategy, contract management, and cost down initiatives. You'll lead a growing sourcing function while helping shape the future direction of supplier partnerships, cost optimization initiatives, and sourcing capabilities. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical understanding, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams through data-driven decision making.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

  • Are you energized by developing strategies that create long-term business value? Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of sourcing and commodity strategies that support organizational objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Do you enjoy building strong supplier partnerships? Establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, conduct supplier visits and audits, evaluate supplier capabilities, and support supplier development initiatives across North America.
  • Can you identify opportunities others might miss? Drive cost savings initiatives, analyze market conditions and pricing trends, and develop creative strategies to achieve future savings targets while balancing quality, service, and risk.
  • Are you skilled at turning data into action? Monitor commodity markets, raw material pricing trends, and supplier performance to support informed decision making and challenge assumptions with facts and analysis.
  • Do you enjoy collaborating across functions? Partner with engineering, procurement, finance, product management, sales, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure sourcing priorities are aligned with business requirements and project objectives.
  • Can you lead through influence and develop others? Guide and mentor team members, share sourcing expertise, elevate team capabilities, and foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and results.
  • Do you like bringing new products to market? Lead Supply Chain support for new product introductions, including supplier engagement, negotiations, implementation planning, qualification activities, and Bill of Material accuracy throughout the product development lifecycle.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract management, project management, or related supply chain functions.

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier agreements and contracts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is helpful.
