Reconciliation Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Review financial and account records to identify discrepancies and ensure balances are accurate and properly supported.
• Perform reconciliation activities by comparing transactions, researching variances, and documenting findings for resolution.
• Enter and maintain accounting-related data with a high degree of precision and consistency across internal records.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize information, track exceptions, and prepare reports that support daily reconciliation work.
• Collaborate with accounting and administrative staff to resolve outstanding items and improve record accuracy.
• Support compliance-related tasks involving benefit or retirement plan information, including work connected to ERISA guidelines when applicable.
• Maintain clear documentation of reconciliation activity, adjustments, and follow-up actions for audit readiness and internal review.
Qualifications:
• Experience in data entry or accounting support with strong attention to detail.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage spreadsheets and analyze financial information.
• Familiarity with reconciliation processes and the ability to investigate and resolve inconsistencies.
• Working knowledge of ERISA-related information or experience supporting retirement or benefits-related records.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy in a structured accounting environment.
Compensation
