Senior IT Business Analyst (Process Reengineering Focus)

We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst (Process Reengineering Focus) to support government-focused initiatives in Surprise, Arizona. This contract opportunity with potential for a long-term role is ideal for someone who can translate operational needs into practical solutions while partnering with stakeholders in a structured, service-driven environment. The role combines business analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes, strengthen customer service operations, and support project delivery within Agile teams.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and clarify business needs by working closely with stakeholders, operational teams, and project partners.

• Evaluate current workflows and identify process gaps, documenting findings and recommending practical improvements.

• Review business and operational documents for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project objectives and compliance expectations.

• Partner with call center and customer service teams to understand service challenges, define requirements, and support enhanced user experiences.

• Create and maintain business requirements, process maps, user stories, and other project documentation needed for successful delivery.

• Contribute to Agile Scrum activities by supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, and ongoing communication between business and technical teams.

• Track action items, decisions, and requirement changes to help maintain project clarity and stakeholder alignment.

• Assist with validating solutions through testing support, feedback gathering, and confirmation that business needs have been addressed.Senior IT Business Analyst (Process Reengineering Focus)

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis within complex, stakeholder-driven environments.
• Working knowledge of call center or customer service operations and the ability to translate service needs into business requirements.
• Strong document review skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
• Experience participating in Agile Scrum teams and supporting iterative project delivery.
• Ability to perform gap analysis and develop clear recommendations for process improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both business and project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in organizing requirements, documenting processes, and managing multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation

$65.00-$72.00 Hourly
