SEO Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Strengthen the technical performance of client websites by identifying issues that affect crawlability, speed, indexing, and overall search visibility.
• Build, update, and maintain WordPress pages using Gutenberg and page builder tools while ensuring accuracy, usability, and brand alignment.
• Write and adjust HTML and CSS directly when needed to support on-page enhancements and resolve site presentation issues.
• Assist with onboarding new clients by evaluating website condition, surfacing technical concerns, and preparing action plans for improvement.
• Handle incoming website requests across a range of WordPress configurations and coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely, effective solutions.
• Review websites before launch, help resolve final technical issues, and support post-launch follow-up to ensure stable performance.
• Carry out optimization tasks designed to improve client KPIs, including landing page updates, page experience enhancements, and technical SEO improvements.
• Support website hosting, domain, analytics, and tracking-related needs such as troubleshooting configurations, migrations, or tag implementation when required.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience working in WordPress CMS environments, including Gutenberg and at least one page builder such as Elementor.• Ability to create and edit HTML and CSS without relying on automated tools, with a working understanding of how JavaScript affects website behavior.
• Solid knowledge of technical SEO principles, including site health, on-page optimization, and page speed best practices.
• Experience managing websites on WordPress hosting platforms and familiarity with routine maintenance across different site setups.
• Understanding of core web design concepts such as typography, color contrast, and maintaining a consistent brand presentation.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console for basic reporting, tagging, and performance review.
• Comfortable researching unfamiliar issues, following technical documentation, and adapting quickly as priorities change.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work through feedback and raise risks or blockers early.
