Corporate Controller
Lisa Cole with Robert Half is looking for a strategic Corporate Controller to oversee accounting operations and enterprise financial reporting for a fast-growing, multi-entity energy platform based near the Roseville area. This role will work closely with senior leadership, operating finance teams, and external partners to strengthen reporting quality, support expansion, and build scalable financial processes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to lead effectively in a dynamic environment shaped by growth and acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycle across corporate and operating entities, ensuring deadlines are met and reporting remains accurate.
• Produce consolidated financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries, for a complex multi-entity structure.
• Establish and refine accounting policies, procedural standards, and control measures that support consistency across the organization.
• Collaborate with finance leaders throughout the business to improve data quality, standardize reporting practices, and resolve accounting issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors, coordinating annual audit activities and ongoing compliance matters.
• Oversee treasury activities such as cash positioning, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and lender reporting obligations.
• Lead budgeting support and cash flow forecasting efforts to help leadership make informed operational and capital decisions.
• Manage corporate insurance programs and partner with brokers or advisors on renewals, claims activity, coverage evaluation, and risk reduction strategies.
• Support acquisition-related accounting and integration efforts, including aligning controls, reporting processes, and financial oversight as new entities are added.
Qualifications:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Strong experience in corporate accounting, financial consolidation, and external reporting within a multi-entity environment.
• Proven background managing audits, tax coordination, and compliance requirements with outside advisors and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated strength in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Ability to lead in a high-growth setting with shifting priorities and significant organizational complexity.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively across executive leadership, operating teams, lenders, and external partners
Compensation
