Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail by collecting, sorting, opening, and distributing correspondence to the appropriate departments.
• Review received checks, identify the correct related entity, and document the information accurately on supporting records.
• Prepare and organize bank deposits for remote deposit processing while maintaining clear and complete documentation.
• Enter deposit and financial tracking details into spreadsheets and other internal records with a high level of accuracy.
• Coordinate shipping activity, including handling package preparation and supporting courier services such as FedEx.
• Scan office and accounting documents, confirm image quality and completeness, and maintain properly organized electronic records.
• Provide administrative support to accounts payable by assisting with invoice and expense report copying, filing, and document organization.
• Draft letters, reports, and routine business correspondence as requested by managers and department staff.
• Maintain office and accounting files, including preparing year-end records for storage and supporting special projects assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
• Experience in administrative support, office coordination, or a similar clerical role.• Working knowledge of data entry, document management, and general office procedures.
• Ability to handle mail processing, filing, scanning, and other day-to-day administrative tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with supporting accounting or accounts payable functions in a detail-focused office setting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and standard office software for recordkeeping and correspondence.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify information and maintain accurate documentation.
• Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with managers, supervisors, and office staff.
Compensation
