Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming invoices and outgoing payments while overseeing customer billing and collections to maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
• Complete monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Prepare and submit sales and use tax documentation along with required local government filings in accordance with reporting deadlines.
• Support year-end accounting activities by organizing records, assisting with closing tasks, and helping ensure documentation is ready for review.
• Produce financial summaries, statements, and other reporting materials as requested to support business decision-making.
• Monitor commission balances and maintain accurate tracking of amounts owed for timely processing.
• Oversee office-related administrative needs, including managing insurance coverage records and keeping required policies current.
• Maintain active relationships with outside safety compliance providers and ensure subscriptions and related documentation remain up to date.
• Act as a central communication link between customers and internal staff while coordinating and updating the field service schedule.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a closely related finance role.• Demonstrated ability to handle full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks for daily accounting and financial record maintenance.
• Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and routine bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with preparing tax-related filings such as sales and use tax reports.
• Ability to generate financial reports and maintain organized supporting documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to balance accounting and office support responsibilities.
Compensation
