Legal Assistant

Robert Half is partnering with a law practice based in Seattle, WA that is looking for a Legal Assistant to jump in and support their team immediately! This position is well suited for someone with litigation support experience who can keep case activity organized, manage filings, and help attorneys stay on top of critical deadlines. The role offers a hybrid schedule and requires strong judgment, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, format, and revise legal documents, correspondence, and court-ready materials with a high level of accuracy.
• Coordinate electronic court submissions and ensure filings are completed in accordance with jurisdictional rules and required timelines.
• Maintain case files and update internal matter records so documents, status notes, and key information remain current and accessible.
• Oversee attorney calendars by arranging hearings, case events, and related deadlines while helping prevent scheduling conflicts.
• Track filing dates and litigation milestones to support timely action across active matters.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a Legal Assistant in a litigation environment is required.

The salary range for this position is $28-32/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
