Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support a non-profit organization in Milford, Massachusetts through a Contract assignment. This position will oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a mid-sized employee population across multiple states, helping ensure accurate and timely pay while maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and can manage payroll activities with precision, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
• Administer complete payroll processing from initial data review through final submission for employees across several states.
• Verify earnings, deductions, tax withholdings, and payroll adjustments to maintain accuracy in each pay cycle.
• Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, update, audit, and reconcile payroll information and employee records.
• Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies by partnering with internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll requirements and established organizational procedures.
• Support payroll-related recordkeeping, documentation, and audit preparation with careful attention to detail.
• Address employee payroll questions regarding pay, deductions, and time-related issues clearly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll independently.
• Background processing multi-state payroll for an employee population of approximately 101 to 500 employees.
• Hands-on proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll practices, tax withholdings, and related compliance standards.
• High level of accuracy, discretion, and organizational ability when handling sensitive payroll data.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and complete payroll tasks within required deadlines.

Compensation

$31.35-$36.30 Hourly
